The Lake Royale Company Police Department consists of (9) Full Time Police Officers.

Our full time staff consists of 7 Patrol Officers and 1 Investigator.  These officers are led by the Police Captain assigned as the division commander. Officers work 24/7 to reduce crime, work investigations, enforce all NC Laws and local ordinances, and serve the community.

Captain Jamor Logan brings over 15 years of dedicated law enforcement experience to the field. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held a wide range of positions, including Detention Officer, Sheriff’s Deputy, Corporal, Police Officer, Police Sergeant, Narcotics Investigator, General Crimes Investigator, and School Resource Officer. His extensive background reflects a deep commitment to public safety, leadership, and community engagement.


Captain Logan earned an Associate’s Degree from Isothermal Community College in 2022, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Carolina University in 2024. He has completed more than 1,500 hours of advanced law enforcement training, covering areas such as Field Training Officer, Field Training Supervisor, Crisis Intervention, Criminal Justice Training Coordination, and General Instruction. He also holds certifications including School Resource Officer, Intermediate Law Enforcement, and Advanced Law Enforcement.


Captain Logan is known for his strong leadership, comprehensive investigative skills, and dedication to officer development and community-focused policing.  He leads a team of dedicated and passionate Officers, Det. Sgt. Robert Smith, Senior Officer Blake Bizzell, Officer Chad Roberts, Officer Curtis Morgan II, Officer Thomas Johnson, Officer Sam Marcum, Reserve Officer James Murphy III, Reserve Officer Paul Robbins.
